Which CPU you should use to upgrade your Mac Pro late 2013

There are multiple choices for upgrading the CPU of Mac Pro late 2013 6,1.
Here is a list of them and my opinions on them:
* e5-2697 v2 -- 2.7GHz 12-core. Best multi-core performance. Most expensive.
* e5-2696 v2 -- 2.5GHz 12-core. Fairly good multi-core performance. Much cheaper.
* e5-2690 v2 -- 3.0GHz 10-core. Good single core performance and multi-core performance. Little bit expensive.
* e5-2687w v2 -- 3.4Ghz 8-core. Best single core performance and good multi-core performance. Little bit expensive.
